This Privacy Policy explains how DistilCode handles information when you use our products and services. We collect only the information described below.

Information We Collect

We collect the following limited usage information:

• Tokens saved count. The number of tokens saved while using DistilCode.
• Tokens used count. The number of tokens used while using DistilCode.
• Pseudonymous identifier. A hashed value derived from a user-provided value, used solely to distinguish unique users. The original value is not stored as part of this identifier.
• Installer activity. We count requests to the install command URL. When you are signed in and copy or select the command on our site, we store that action with your account ID, email address, time, and browser details.
• Website usage. We use Microsoft Clarity to understand visits, clicks, scrolling, and navigation through heatmaps and session recordings. Clarity may collect device and browser details and use cookies or similar technologies. Form input values are masked in recordings.

How We Use Information

We use this information to measure aggregate product usage, calculate token savings, and understand how DistilCode performs across unique users. Installer activity helps us measure downloads and understand how people use the install command. Website analytics help us improve the site experience.

Data Sharing

We do not sell the information described in this policy. Website usage data is processed by Microsoft Clarity to provide analytics and heatmaps.
